Highly Favoured Ministries

Highly Favoured Ministries, a non-profit organization which started in August 2007.  The main calling of the ministry is to rebuild the nation through empowerment of the youth.  Our Mission Statement is found in Isaiah 61: 1-7.

The Goals of the Ministry are:

§         To rebuild the tattered fabric of our society/country by effectively redirecting the focus of our youth, enhancing their self esteem and fostering a new prospective of self towards leadership.

§         The purchase of a building for use as an orphanage and learning centre.

We believe that by empowering our youth, we will be saving our nation.  Our youth today are:

§         Disregarded by society.  Street boys and girls are being molested and raped, yet their cries go unheard.

§         They are leaders in their own right, becoming parents in homes abandoned by parents.  Unsung heroes.

§         Selling fruits or begging on the streets in order to support themselves.  Unsung heroes.

§         Used by parents as prostitutes, yet they can rise above the storms of life.  Unsung heroes.

With all this confusion assailing our children, society remains silent.  Have we ploughed all that our nation has to offer?  Will we remain silent while our country slides into ruin?  No, we can rebuild our walls instead.

Our Conference 2007 is scheduled for October 12-15, 2007 at the Wexford Hotel in Montego Bay under the theme “Rebuilding the Nation, Empowering our Youth.”

Highly Favoured Ministries is pleased to invite the participation of yourself and your congregation. We anticipate your partnership in our cooperative efforts at rebuilding the moral fibre of our nation one step at a time, one person at a time, one youth at a time, endeavouring to ensure that future employees are able to function as true ambassadors.
